I like the picture, so that it's said right away, so people don't get mislead.

I have done one or two photomanip myself, thought I always concentrated to the composition and the "object"(usually the photo) I had in the picture. I went throught that phase, like everyone else. But I gotta admit that I got past it, some people like it so much that they stick to it. I don't mind. I do enjoy looking at particular pmanips.
This is one of them, not because of your manipulation of the picture, thought, just because the photo you used(child & woman) is so great.

I think you could have spent more time actually DOING the picture, i.e doing more precise texture layouts on their skin. It could have looked a lot better. I doubt this one took you more than 3 hours, right?

Anyhow. I like it, and I see you can also draw so there should be no problems. Thought I think you should've informed right away from the start where photo came from, so no one would've thought anything else.

Oh well, keep up the good work. I'll go.

Nice work, galen. Yet another one doin portraits of Corinne Hall...ts ts. BTW, her eyes appear to be different height.
Maybe we all should always add a little traditional art pic as a posting authorization when posting photo compositings...then again, maybe NOT.
