I feel this is something any Concept artist should see. Shoot me down if I'm wrong. This video has some awsome stuff. If this has been posted twice, sorry about that.

Doug does mention that some of the images arn't in that book he put out. So you can see some new pictures.

If anyone knows a way to save .rm files as they stream. Let me know! (Don't want the .ram start up file either. Whole thing.)

Or if anyone knows a way to get a hold of this on video, that would be sweet!

These links came from Gamasutra

I wish people would just stop encoding things in real player format. Otherwise it will never die and give us relief.

Look for it on gamasutra they have it on quicktime and it is a lot better
http://www.gamasutra.com/features/index_visual_arts.htm##

also after you download it you can go into your temporary internet files and right click and copy and paste the movie into another file and then keep the file !

Real Player is a Real pain in the butt. I prefer missing out on this sort of stuff than installing that crap.

Awsome! If you got time, grab that Quicktime move version that TheMilkMan made a link to. That link will bring you to a page, look down threw that page for the "GDC 2000 Keynote: The Designs of Star Wars Episode One" title. Start the Download process, then just pause the movie and let it keep downloading. The file your downloading for this version comes out to be about 18megs Then do what TheMilkMan says todo:

Click on your "Start" button, then go upto where it says "Find", and then over to "Files or Folders..." and click. On the next screen type in the name "star_wars_56k.mov", then click on the "Find Now" button to the right. If that doesn't bring up anything just type in "*.mov", skip past all the porn stuff and look for Star Wars, it usually stands out from the porn names... Err... Did I type that outloud? Well, once you see it in the box below, then you can copy and paste it to the desktop or where ever your other stuff is.

I'll see if I can poke around the net for a better version. But its nice just to hear Doug talk about his work. I'll see if I can host the bigger file too... Wish me luck.

Just found the the 70.72 megs version of the .mov File:
http://www.gamasutra.com/quicktime/star_wars/star_wars_T1.mov

Just copy the url into a download manager, like GetRight, and wait a few hours (when you don't own a T1-Connection like me ).

@jHof: Thanks for the hint on the movie!
