Theres been a whole lot of the following 2 things lately, and i think its unnecessary, so please dont:

Post a misleading subject so people read your post like..yeah, it works, but its happening too much

Reply to a message that was written a year ago (or any long amount of time) since its confusing to people.

this is not to anyone in particular, but just something we can all use to help keep things in order...its hard enough keeping track of all the threads as it is.

these will be up in the guidelines once that page goes up

I mean that kinda works. What i mean is for subjects that have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the topic. this isnt anything against catchy subjects, just things that are only there for hooks.. like "NAKED PICTURE OF TINUSCH!!!!" you know..cause everyone would click on that subject right?

Can you set it up so that any threads that haven't been replied to for, say, two weeks become automatically locked? This gives people enough time to reply if they feel it necessary, but late, while still not so long that the thread is completely forgotten. It leaves threads open for anyone to browse/search.

Just a thought. I know nothing about UBB.

what about threads like the Contest of...er...forgot his name :/ or one I opened myself and promised to be the last one dealing with the same artwork, so the progress is posted there to prevent multiple threads with the same artwork
