[El Caseron]

Hey! Some may remember my problem with details... I solved it. I found a totally new way for me to draw! Prolly it's nothing new to you. I just painted over the sketch. No layers or something. I like the result. Please tell me what you think...

I know how much it sucks to post art work and not get a single reply, so here goes. They call me the '0 post man'.

I think it should be more refined. It seems a little smudgy and blotted. Make the warts more warty. The teeth more tusk like. Orcs have bad hygene, yellow tusk-teeth things all the way. They eyes are way too white and cartoony, even though you may want the cartoony look. Give your Orc here more aesthetic depth.

I do really like the yellow light sourcing you put in coming in on the left hand side. It doesn't seem proper on the right hand side of his cheek and neck area though.

Yeah I agree with Speve-o-matic. give the worts some more shadows to make them stick out more.

Are you gonna add a background. I think it would add more life to the picture.

Nice picture, but I do agree with Steve in that you could refine the piece a little more. But other than that, great job! I love orcs.

Nice pic, but I like the sketch much more than the painted one, I think it's because the painted one doesn't have so much contrast. Try to give the picture more contrast and definition. Lovely character, though.

Hey, thanks for the replies and the crit. A special thanks to Speve who kept me from falling to page2-wasteland. I worked a while on the picture. Refining and stuff. I tried to let the eye not look too cartoonish by shrinking it a bit and give it some shading. Corrected some anatomy and the light. Added bad hygene
Please give crit to the new one.


@Kuzya: He'S not dead. It was a fake. I heard that someone hacked the MTV-germany webpage and added a self-made report to the news. I guess you hit someone else with your truck

BTW:I'm working on a background. My first one. I'm stuck with the clouds. So more contrast will come soon.
