Woah, I like it.. Are you gonna add more detail in the foreground? I think that would really add a lot..
Nice concept, though... Good work. |

Heh, I can't be the ONLY one who though about that. Thanks for the card! |

Have you done the pic just for this forum to enjoy? If so, many thanks. It made me laugh, and Merry Christmas to you as well!

i always thought that the detail should be on the object of focus, to me this picture is focusing on santa, so why have more detail in the foreground??? ever take a photo of a tree far away?? did you notice that the foreground and extreme background are not as focussed as the tree???
cool pic BTW

well ok, but there's one GLARING error in your reasoning there...and that is i dont care what the INTENT was, i'm still gonna give my opinion.

you're right...but still, even if that was the intent the things in the foreground should look a little blurry and less detailed rather than just being a big mess of paintstrokes...
in his (and possibly my own) defense, the santa part of the image looks great...i just wish he would take more time on the rest of it...

My tea's gone cold,I'm wondering why I got out of bed at all
the morning rain clouds up my window and I can't see at all
And even if I could it'd all be grey, but your picture on my wall
it reminds me that it's not so bad
it's not so bad

cool card, donk!! i'm sure whoever you give it to will not complain about how detailed it is. i know if someone took the time to draw me a card i'd be pretty happy --
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
