Hi Forum,
this is nearly my first post here and I thus want to introduce myself to you as well as get feedback on the last four images I created. They were all done from a b/w-sketch another artist did for the upcoming PC-game "Kohan".
I would greatly appreciate any feedback on the images. Thanks...

Wow. I really love those. I am a big fantasy fan though and therefore I am biased but I really like your coloring.
Only two crits are that the first girl's metal thing on her back is extremely shiny. There seems to be a lot of light hitting it but her hair and cheek dont have the same light sorce. On the second girl it all looks great except that her neck seems a little odd. Like it's not turning completelly right with her head. Other than that I love them. |

Wow! Very nice and realistic coloring on them all. I would have to pick the 1st and 3rd one in particular. Nicely done!

Hell-loooo talent!!!!
Whoa! Where do you guys spring from? When I worked in games I only met a handful of really talented artists (of the illustration kind, not the 3D kind, that's another story) in eight years! Seems like every European games company has two or more awesome artists.
Makes me want to get another games job..
Cheers, A. |

Hi and welcome! These are very fine quality, very professional. I especially like the mood of the redhead pic and the realism in that zombie-goblin-pilot pic (or whatever it is). Nothing to crit there, nice work. |

welcome
great pics
hmmmmm criticsm?
-I think the nose of the woman in the second pic looks a bit unsymmetrically(-->schief)
and if I'm picky I would say her ear needs some work
looks a bit flat
but thats small details
hope to see more of your works soon

Thanks a lot for all the feedback!
I am really glad I found this forum. It is always easy to receive criticism at work - but positive feedback is rare.
Feels good.
I will try my best to avoid these little "mistakes" in human faces, but it is so hard to draw them correctly. Monsters are much easier!

Hey "A",
we are seriously looking for artists at the moment, and Australia is not far from Germany... :o)

Aha? Well, germany is even less far from germany. Next year I'll be done with my Mediengestalterausbildung ( ), then I'd like to enter the game development field. So count me in as interested (TechnoMage is looking good!). Maybe we can meet at USF 2001? Drop me an e-mail if interested...
