I really like the quality of this pic. Good face architecture on her...uh... face. Neato color choices as well.
Oh, and the brushstrokes on those glowing shapes are very paint-stroke-real. They really remind me of the wispy shapes of light that appear in open-shutter night photography. Way to go deviating from a basic photoshop artifact like brush-size blobs
I agree most about the neck situation. To remedy this... get some swimwear catalogs or something where you can see women's necks from all angles... then sketch those collar bones! |

How old are you?
I like everything of yours that I have seen.
I am not bothered by the anatomy at all. Study it yes, but don't lose the rhythms you have naturally.
I am always saying if someone says it's wrong, it is, so I guess I have to be consistent and say that the people here pointing out problem areas are on to something.
But whatever you do, don't get stiff and academic on us. That would be a shame.
Just draw as much as you possibly can, everyday.
You and Justin have talent, in that your mistakes are pleasing exagerations rather than festering boils (like mine). Degas is someone that has this feeling to me. Mucha is far more academic, but still pleasing in his own way.
I guess what I am saying is be careful who you listen to, you have something special, and it can be trained right out of you.
Oh, being careful in who to listen to applies to me as well ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

Hehe, thank you very much Spooge. Your advice has been marked and remembered. Thank you all for your advice as well. As I have said before, Sijun is such a powerful tool for this reason.
I'm 17 by the way, so I've got a long way to go yet..

nice job isric, the painting sets such a calm and happy mood, i think its because of the nighttime bg.. and the beautiful balls of light, and the girl looks so happy to be there..
You have a nice style its very Van Gogh-ish..keep up the good work, can't wait to see more.. |

Oh yeah, forgot. This was done using both PS and Painter. I would interchange throughout the picture to get different looks and effects.
you can find some of my other stuff here. At the moment this is the only other place on the web to find me:
