I did those studies on painter back in 98- they were exercices, nothing more. I saw in Micke's site that he did one too, and I though that most of us must done the same at some point. so I'm starting the thread - maybe someone did it already, don't know.
post yours if you got some.

These are great! I like the middle one best, especially the skin tones. I also like the expression and pose on the first one. Good translation.
I might have some bruce Lee stuff somewhere.. I'll post here if I find it. |

very nice ... but one thing though ... his muscles are a little bit proeminent on the first one and the last ... the second is super. nice work

wow, really nice job beet, i really like the middle one.. the only thing is that when i visit your site..
its hard to navigate, i see all those great pictures veritically but i can't find most of them in your site.. your such a great artist but i can't see all of your great work.. |

I think the face is very nicely done.looks incredible good  Kinda looks like my father 
Is the first one done on paper or photoshop?
I've been to your page. where can i see the full pictures that are shown on the sides?

I hate posting it twice, but it suits this thread. It's done with the blocking of colours technique. I did it to show a guy at work how a photo can be copied quick.I never finished it, though. Originally posted in the speed-pic post.

mike : all done on painter - usually I would sketch on paper, but not these.
and I never tried photoshop for any actual drawings .just too used to painter. maybe I'll have a go at ps when you try painter :-)
the website ...well same answer as for bubon( above ) january ...

I just recently started to digital art and one of the first pictures that I felt I needed to do was Bruce Lee. I haven't done it as of yet, I'm going to save him 'til I have more skill. It just wouldn't be right to do a crummy Bruce Lee.
Oh and [s]layer you said the muscles were prominent as if that were a bad thing. Have you ever seen Bruce Lee?
