Or when you're working on something you haven't saved yet and it locks up. One time I was writing this awesome poem on the computer, and the focking thing locked up and it was lost forever. Ah well.. Anyway from now on I write on paper. ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/wink.gif) |

within MS word <tools/options/file locations/>
there is an autorecovery directory,. you might want to make sure that it was set on your computer,..
if not, i suggest setting it,.
also,. for all those times the computer locks up and you think you've lost your work,. i suggest looking under the c:\windows\temp directory. and see if you can find a backup,.
<unfortunatly thi doesn't work for Macs or power Pc's>
