I'm so stupid. I posted this in random musings, first, not looking. Kill me, someone?

Anyway. I had one of those awfully productive days. This was done in about three hours.

Amazing Only three hours and you get this incredibly result.

I'm not sure if you wanted crit or not, but here goes anyway. Obviously her body isn't finished, but also her chin is a bit too sharp edged I think. Her left eye (our right) seems to be a bit too wide, but maybe that's just shadows playing tricks with my eyes.

You really need to get yourself a nice homepage where you can show your best stuff. Or if you already have one, why don't you put it in your profile?

It would take me 3 days to get the hair to look like that.

Witchlord: I'm working on the eye right now - you're right... and trying to soften the look of her chin a little. I'll see how it turns out. When it comes to her body... Well, no, not finished... but I lost patience with it. I do that sometime. As to the webpage... no. I'm afraid I don't have the time to design one right now. Got my art up on Elfwood and Toonscape however.

Spydur: Admittedly, I had part of her mask finished before that

Amazing piece. What resolution did you do this in?
Personally I don't see the problems that have been pointed out by WitchLord, but maybe that's down to different views.
One thing that does stand out to me is her nose. I found it a little hard to see the nose ring, it almost blends in with her face.
Possibly changing the ring to a darker bronze might help.

Thanks.

The original piece is about 2000 pixels high, and 1500 wide.

Damn, that's nice!
I love it, esp. the beautiful shadow tone over her chest. Personally, I like to loose feel of her body, which contrasts with the detail of her hair and mask, and to overwork it might be a mistake.
Great work!

WOW!! Thats beautiful. I love this peice. The only 1 thing i see that I would crit is that her tiara seems a bit crooked... like its sitting slightly off angle... and the skin on her arm seems a bit pasty... especially around the highlight..... but gorgeous work my man

are you a machine? - you throw one cool artwork after another into the ring....

but look carefully to her hairs - they look kinda artificial; like rubber or latex. (the hair on the elf-like guy in your previous post was much better - at least I think that one was your's)

WOW. The mask seems to be a bit flat especially in the place that is right over the nose (or probably my notebook shows wrong colors). But anyway this looks really amazing

Yep, I /am/ a machine! I'm surprised someone finally figured that out. A weird scientist created me out of sheer cruelty.

But as to the picture... you're right about the hair, Solitaire (Woohoo, I rhymed! ) ... I've already fixed it, as you'll see once I've done a bit more on the picture and uploaded the new version

*Sigh* Ah, man, looks like the updated version will be long in coming. I lost my inspiration in the middle of the pic.

Excellent picture. Very nice The things that look a bit odd are the tiara and the mask... both a little flat looking to me. Probably need darker shadows lighter highlights. But very nice look overall. Details great, can even see her eyelashes And one place that is a bit wierd to me is the shoulder. Keep thinking that there should be more Shadow around that area and the neck... By the way, I personally like the hair ...not sure if you updated the new one or not yet. But woot! Great in 3 hours. Damn productive you are.

Heh, and I'm hoping Visigoth isn't trying to imply I've stolen the picture from someone else. Not that I'm worried

And I forgot to thank everyone for their very useful comments! I'll try fixing the image when I get the inspiration and time

Kimzoll: I'm afraid that's my big problem right now. I can't seem to draw her a nice body. Which is where I got stuck

Reminds me of Olivia De Berardinis' work. Love the velvety hair. Is that a word?

But I do have my art up on Elfwood:Here
And Toonscape: Here

Well, if you want some help with designing your homepage. I'm sure that almost everyone here would be pleased to help you. I know I would, even though I'm not all that good at it myself

I checked out your galleries and I must say that I'm stunned. I know it might be considered rude to ask how old a lady is but I just have to know. Do you mind telling me?

Sometime in the future maybe I too will be able to do pictures as amazing as yours. My major obstacle for obtaining that goal is that I don't draw enough since I'm a programmer by heart.

Witchlord: You should be careful what you offer, or I might just go ahead and ask Naw, I wouldn't want to force a lot of people to design a page for me... no matter how tempting that may be.

As to how old I am... eheh... I'm an old lady. Or not really. 23 years.
