Ahoy hoy. I think that this is officially the second or third time I've ever posted artwork here. But who needs to be exact? On with the show, of sorts.
This picture was done in Photoshop's twisted lesbian little sister, Illustrator. I just got it like two weeks ago and this is the very first image I've attempted from scratch. It's basically an experiment in simple shapes and using gradations to achieve a stylized sort of look. While it isn't quite done yet, I think that so far it's been fairly successful. I think I've spent about an hour or so on it up to this point.
Fucking A, I love PNGs.
This is off topic, but I saw this band called UVR, or Ultra Violet Radiation, tonight and they were pretty damned good. Check out their website here. Try and download their songs on Napster too.

Euhm ... did you say ONE HOUR ? huk ?? That's pretty long to do something lioke that , but if it's only for the shapes .. I guess they are ok , keep practicing like I do  ( I need it bad hehehe) |

i'm not exactly a fan of illustrator, but i like your wee robot design. the knobiness of the shapes gives it a lot of character.
i think it could use some lighter highlights, and probably some kind of detail on the body, to make that look more robot-like. even just a line around the 'waist'

Huh? I don't see any lesbians. Not to mention there isn't enough blood in the ball there. Where are the babes with skimpy outfits and huge weapons? Probably should put another hour into that piece.
Anyone ever notice that if you say A.Buttle really fast it kinda sounds like a butt hole? |

Chapel- Ah, Chapel, you bring up the age old question of "How do you create two hot naked lesbian babes weilding axes and making out in Adobe Illustrator?"
And, did you ever notice that if say you Chapel really fast it kinda souns like "I don't know how I should interpret the comment about buttholes, was it a lighthearted comment or were you trying to imply something about my character?"
