This is my first post, but I've been following he forum for a little while and I really like what I've seen. I find great inspiration in the works of Dhabih and many other fantastic posters on the board.
I'm a real beginner with Photoshop and with Tablets. I'm wondering if anyone could offer some advice on how to clean up this sketch a little bit. Also I'd like to add some eyebrows and some eyelashes, but I'm not really sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks alot everybody !

PS: Was wondering if anyone could suggest which would be more useful for digital painting using photoshop: A 12x12 tablet with next to no pressure sensitivity or a 5x4 wacom tablet with 1024 levels of pressure. I have both at the moment and no money to buy a larger wacom. I find the 12x12 has MUCH better motion control than the smaller tablet , however the smaller tablet can do a little more in terms of opacity and brush size/angle. I'm trying to make a decision on which I should use to draw my next sketch ?! boggle boggle can't decide !

If I were to take over the picture your working on here, I would add more contrast. I don't care what world your from, deep shadows will always goto a grey/blackish color.
Throwing around some deeper purple tones and some dark grey/black tones would help define the image a lot more I feel.
As for the eye brows... I would just draw them, how you see them. Not sure what your looking for a specific eye brow look. His left eye kind of has a problem area for eye brows to be painted in. That big'ol wrinkle prolly wouldn't come down like that. Move that up or maybe make it shorter one way or the other.
As for the table question. I don't have either right now. Your lucky to have what you got. But from what I read on everyone elses posts. Its a matter of drawing preferance. If you like to take big strokes you should buy a bigger pad. If you like controled smaller strokes go for a smaller one and save money. If you got both, more power to you... I wouldn't think anyone would need bigger than a 12x12, but maybe thats like saying "640K should do."
Keep up the work, interesting picture you have there. I'd look into buying some backgrounds too, or make one, much cheaper to make one, ya.
