ok here what do you guuuys like using more the burn /dode tool or the paintbrush or the airbrush or acombination of all or few..?

Krazy: coloring a pic takes between 6-12 hours for me. I use mainly the paintbrush and airbrush tools, with some smudge and various effects.

sweet. ya ive ben experimenting with dodge and burn shading circles n stuff im trying to shad using the airbrush and paint brush right now..not doing to well have to work out my own technique. And also didnt know if anyone used filters i know i saw some tutoials where tehy used them and some artist saying how they take away from the pic that you should do every thing my yourself....man i cant use a mouse so used to working with a pencil ro shade and its like a nightmare. i cant wait till i get my wacom for christmas. then ill dive heavily into practicing my shading and drawing but for now im just going to sketch stuff and scan it in. ill post some stuff im working on ..when i start working on something and when i figure out how to post it lol/

well, there are still some problems with her - look at the left arm (spec view) - it's too long, the hands also suck...
I began coloring a previous version, but stopped when figuring out her neck was too long and some other things that doesn't fit together...

Well not much of a gamer since those days. but yep the good old Tandy was cranking away on those game graphics. it was cool, still like that stuff. But Ive been away from games too long now. My wife sticks with the SIMS, it can bore the hell out of me. Keep's here out of my hair and on my PC though.

Wing Commander I was the shit! What I had to go though to get that to work. Upgrade to 386 and 86mb hd or so. All them floppy disks.
geezz that was a load of crap!

Heh ya maybe but maybe she was ment to have a long arm and neck and messed up hands after all life isnt perfect.

Maybe she was midevily tortured and had her neck stretched hehe i like it still, way better than my coloring and drawing is for right now gues i need to just start drawing and top worrying bout the details till i get my shit down pat. oh and thanks for the replys

Oh what the hell.. I'll jump in here and post something..

This pic was sort of a personal step up for me... I had just gotten my 12x12 Wacom and was doing a lot of photography at the time. This was my first digital piece that I was really happy with, and most of my work since has been improving on this same sort of style.

p.s., Dives and Moose, very nice stuff! (an' the rest of ya too, of course.
