Yes, the topic says it all... a blatant display of self-promotion cleverly disguised as an offering of free wallpaper for all to enjoy. Shame? What's that?
I don't really know what category my digital stuff falls into, so I usually just refer to it as "digital fine art". I either get inspired by stuff I photograph or have laying around the house, or I get an idea that I have to work out of my head.. I usually post the result on my website, http://www.blasterstudios.com. Since I haven't redesigned my site in forever and a day, I've recently been just sort of forming these little self-promotion pics out of my art and slapping them on the front page. It occurred to me today that some of these pics might make nice wallpaper for anyone who would be so inclined.
All 3 are 2.2 mb 1024x768 BMP files. I figure 1024x768 is a happy medium between filesize and res, but if I get a lot of requests for another size, I can post em. The preview pics are web-optimized JPGs, the BMPs are without compression or watermarks, so they look a lot better... so please just be honest and don't rip me off.
Enough talk, on with the p0r... err, I mean.. here's the goods:
http://www.blaster.org/wallpaper/blasterlogo_portrait.bmp
http://www.blaster.org/wallpaper/blasterlogo_buddha.bmp
http://www.blaster.org/wallpaper/blasterlogo_horror.bmp
p.s., feedback on these or anything else on my site is always welcome and appreciated. God, I am a shameless bastard... har!
p.p.s., before anyone asks, I got my handle from the mathematical phenomenon, moebius strip.. I had never even heard of Moebius of Heavy Metal fame or the Necroscope books when I chose it, and by then it was too late to go back.
[edit] damn UBB code...

Well, free as in "please take these and use them as wallpaper if you wish". Granted, anything anyone posts here can technically be used as wallpaper, but I am just offering the stuff up for it...
Also looking for any critiques or comments anyone has on the images. I'm going to be posting some of my figure pieces and sketches later, these are strictly digital works for now...

hey man your site is tiight. I like the way it reloads a different pic and bg color each time. your artwork is very impressive as well as the site itself. I also like how you use colors so well in all of your stuff. I look forward to seeing the finished site.
