Hi there!

This here is my second 'real' attempt at coloring a picture using Dhabih Eng's tutorial.
Least to say, I still have much to learn, but think I can work my way up to.. well.. something.

The picture of the happy clown is drawn by NDR113, who's hard at work trying to 'master the ancient arts of doodling'! Without him, I wouldn't have much to color! Ya'll be seeing more of his artwork.

About the pic, well I made some mistakes, I know that, and the lighting is a bit off on some parts, but as a second try (also a second try with a silly Aiptek tablet) I think I did ok.
My biggest problems were the big 'undefined areas' like the hair and his coat. On the other hand, I think his pants look kinda nice.

I'm also having a little trouble of how to give it more sharp edges where need be, it seems too blurred at some points, and vice versa on some other spots as well, heehee.

Heck, there's a lot more I could go on about, but I think you get the idea, I don't really know what I'm doing yet!

I've done a few small things after this, that I think came out much better (after having practices with the tablet a lot) which I might post later on.

PS. I would like to thank many of the great artist around here for their inspiration and insight.. Thank you!

(I'm done talking now. Please crit my work, be cruel.)

Almost looks as if I'm good at what I do ...Almost I like the pants and the shoes indeed. I know that many of you don't like these kinds of drawings. And maybe it is beneath most of you in some way. But I really like the way this is going. We are not (yet) aiming to be on your lvl. But my drawings are getting better I think. Better than this one. And in the mean time we are trying to develop a nice style to bring them to life in photoshop. I hope we are doing well until now. We have only been working at this for the past few weeks. I can't urge enough... If you really have some helpfull tips on how we might get better results next time please let them know. They will be most appreciated.
