I like it! Nice drawing + I like your style of CG. One thing though, her eyes are a bit off. It kinda makes her look crazy. Even out the eyes + give the pupils more def and I think you would send it to the next lev.

Anchors away home slice..
I like her.. she's pritty....hot hehe
I was a bit concerned with the neck when it was loading but now that I see the full pic I think it fits her very nicly.
Design corner.... I think it would look good if she had some things in her hair. Beeds, jewlry...stuff like that.... look at Yoshitaka Amano's stuff he does that alot (mostly because he is rad)
See ya Nova

Nice pic. I really like the pose but I would change the colour of the skin and the the left strap (is that the right word?) of her shirt looks wrong. |

lines:
Ulic Qel-Droma: i erased a lot of the original linework, since i used the original sketch in the final. oh well, s'ok. i'd like to see what you come up with.. post!
paintbrush and a tablet, i started out with midtones for skin/hair and the layer mode screen for highlights. shadows were just darker tones.
sigurd2000: thanks! yea, i didn't work on her eyes as much as i usually do, i'll fix.
Blitz: shmanks.. if you can manage to get her out of the screen, you can have her thanks for the suggestion, too.. now that i look at her again, maybe accesories would help. i love amano.. he's some sort of deity

Nice picture, I really dig the style. Was there any influence from that movie "Run Lola Run"? Just wondering, they look similiar exept a different hair color.

Looks great!
If you'd like to take this a bit further some things you can think about are adding more color range to the skin. Especially around the face you can have more range of tone.
It's a great pose, shes got spunk!
keep it up!

This face looks identical to the last character concept you posted (The really old kid looking green thing ). Only this one has blue hair and more sex appeal.

I liked this drawing, so I took your line work through Streamline and into Illustrator. This is what I have so far. I haven't even touched the head yet. That's going to be hard as hell. Anyway, I hope you like it.
Ah, the power of PNGs...
Here is the zipped Illustrator 9 file if you're interested.

*joy*
hi!
wow, i don't think i've ever gotten so many replies! thanks guys for your time. and yeah, whoo-wee.. to have my work colored by someone else is really an honor.
after hours of tweaking and changing my mind:
Francis: i took some of your unspoken suggestions and fixes by looking at your rendition. i wouldn't have noticed my flaws otherwise. that environment you put in there is what i had in mind from the very beginning, that is, if i'd put a bg in there at all. nice job!
Olley: wow, your first post spent on me! i love the black hair and the velvet take on the shirt. you totally turned the image around.. i like.
Dhabih: shmanks! i did that funky funky skin tone thing in the revise.
Ulic Qel-Droma: dodge often = evil oh well.. looks good and kind of iridescent. hm, i would have never imagined her as blonde!
Speve-o-matic: i've noticed that similarity a lot. it's kind of annoying. i guess it's only natural though. i more-or-less subconsciously model my characters after myself, too. again, a little annoying when unwanted.
hew: she almost looks like an rpg character of some sort with the hair like that. very interesting. i don't know about her figure, though. she's a little too skinny i think
wOOp: took your idea of the spotlight and the light source
Dryfire: what an eerie effect going on there with the tealish lighting. very cool
A.Butte: who knew? thanks for the .ai convert. i've been looking forward to seeing something other than just graphic design as usual in illustrator. organic shapes are a nice change from business cards!
Blitz: i thought about and wanted to use the beads and things, but i wanted to put more emphasis on her rather than her clothing.
So i've realized i've just about reached my goal established from when i first started drawing, which is doing something similar to the ff8/parasite eve concept art and character sketches, especially this one sketchy pic of Aya. what a cool feeling..
thanks again!
edit, after a few hours of pondering: hm. in some ways i still like the original best.

Heh, every one was givin her a punkish or raver like look. So i decided to give her some natural hair color...and make her look more like a "goodie" girl heh. naughty girls suck haha.
yah....dodge often is bad...haha oh well. Ill learn how to color properly soon! Really!
