Try softening some edges. Especially with the clouds. Only rulers have edges that straight.
Also try and vary the looks of the tree roots...instead of looking like they are rooted in the ground they appear to be sitting on top of the grass. Dig them babies in there!
Overall I like the colors and the feel of the pic. I like the devil midget dude...but try to make him less stiff.

Let's face it, comedy is a dead art form. Now tragedy, ha ha ha, that's funny! |

screw softening edges,
I love this pic.. yah it's not realistic, or perfectly cartoony (in that flat shaded WB cartoon style) but it's cool, its composition seems well done to me, and the only real thing that bothers me is the pose of devilboy
try perhaps... sitting him down on the branch instead of standing...
other than that, I think this picture really rocks, it's got great contrast, and oozes style
then again what do I know I barely post pics |

Very special style, it suits a style you could use in a childrens book

hi,
thanx for all your replies didnt expected that much quite good critics...
@SporQ: yep you are right... but the phrase 'defenseless midget' ( i found in the forum on http://www.helloween.org ) inspirated me drawing this pic... in fact this dwarf is not defenseless at all ... its 'el diablo'
@kimzoll: well i dont want to draw for children books guess i should change my drawing style
cheers
peter
