Funfetus: I mean the combination - the jewellery and the piercing itself. Most of what I use in my eyebrow is meant to be used in your navel, or possibly in your nose or lip (this is one of the smaller pieces, really... Should take a picture of one of the more extreme sometime ). Yes, I have seen some punk rockers with similar pieces in their eyebrows, actually... But not so many girls of my style

Uhm?...well actually i didn't want to get into it here. But since we are on the subject... I've always wanted a piercing in my eyebrow. But I know someone who had one and now he has a nervous twitch in his eyebrow. They must've damaged a nerve somehow. I have also heard of people who's piercing began to infest and stuff (eew!) And now they have a scar on their nose or whatever. Also people who had their tonge pierced and their tongue is numb. I've heard numerous stories like that. I would just like to know if that only happens on rare occasions or if there are more people with simulair experiences. In wich case I will not do it. I have enough scars already. I don't need more disfgurement. Well just let me know. I think your piercing looks good though Enayla....as far as I can tell from a drawing. hehe

NDR113: Glad you like my piercing. As to the bad stuff when it comes to piercings... the most important thing is NEVER DO IT YOURSELF! You need to check out the different piercing studios where you live - ask people so you know about the reputation of the places.

I think the most problems concerning piercings actually stems from people trying to do the piercings themselves. That, and not taking proper care of them. The most dangerous piercings, as far as I know, are the ones around the upper lip in your face - that one you've got to think a lot before doing.

Just take good care of it... Should work out just fine

Well actually...Those people I'm talking about did it in studio's with good reputations. I believe sometimes mistakes are made. But I gues you're right. If they are professionals they probably won't make such huge mistakes. Well I just want one in my eyebrow. And a tribal tatoo on my back (probably hurts too) But no pain no gain. Just have to get the money for it first. And think about it long and hard. thanks for the reply. I'll leave the post back to the subject again then. I don't have much to add on your drawing and stuff. Just that it looks very good to me and that I'm jealous. Well I'll just have to keep on learning then.

Nice pic! I'd like to see a bigger version...
At what resolution did you draw it.

I'd lose the jewelry and red hair myself, but then what do I know. ^_^

Bigger resolution coming up later...

As to what resolution I drew it in, I think it was unusually small - some 2000 pixels high or so.

'fraid losing the red lock of hair and the piercing would feel a bit wrong. Since the eyebrow piece has been there for lots of years now. Maybe I'll drop the red lock - but my friends thought that was the best part of it. But then, they know me

In the higher-res version, you can see some nice skin textures. That's cool.

Sine we've been on the subject of piercings, I'll mention the self-portrait I just put up, which also happens to contain a piercing: http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/Forum2/HTML/007606.html

Thanks... I'm glad everyone thinks it looks better this way

And as to the piercing, Blitz... *sigh*... I actually miss it too. I promise that once I get the piece to look better, that'll be the version I'll use I don't care what some people think... I love my piercing! Mwa ha ha!

geeez *jaw drops to the floor*....what a beautifull representative of my favourite gender .

OK, what can I say - I am too late and everyone has already said what has to be said...hmm...

I like your pic (...blabla nothing new - OK ) ...but besides that your pics are usually technically and compository masterpieces; this one I like the most for it's mood - although it's a kind of typical pose it has a very natural feel.
(hehe, and I also like the spikey )

So where's my personal tutorial for hairs? ....

Here is a higher resolution version of the picture. As some might notice, I have removed the piercing jewellery on this one. If this disappoints you

... go to picture with the piercing

Enjoy!
