Not that anyone would look this far down in a post (especially if it's that damned old).
But I have begun a listing of my record collection for trade purposes...er, I mean "backup purposes" with friends.
I feel I am being honest when I admit to being a COMPLETE audiophile. I would sell blood to buy music. This list is grouped by category, and I still have about 8 more categories to list. The collection is about 20% documented so far.
Here ya go.

Can't miss an opportunity like this. Since there is such a diverse range of tastes here I thought it might be a good chance for me to get a bit of feedback. I've started a band recently and we've recently recorded a demo to get an idea of how our songs are going. It's just two guitars and vocals at the moment as well, we'll put a full band together soon.
You can get them from here, http://www.geocities.com/garthmidgley
Sometimes it takes a few seconds for geocities to register the download, but it'll ping eventually.
Thanks in advance to all those who give it a listen.
Here's my brief list;
Metallica
Megadeth
Damaged
Dreadnaught
Testament
Alice in Chains
Stone Temple Pilots
Monster Magnet
Powderfinger
Jeff Buckley
Days of the New
Tea Party
Fourplay
Led Zeppelin
Claptin/Cream
Beethoven
Pink Floyd
Kyuss
Queens of the Stoneage
Suicidal Tendencies
Tom Waits (Bone Machine)
Coldplay
... I better stop here or I'll go on all day.
So many good bands around *sigh*

blah blah blah ...

Tss tss tss, you guys need a good music education, aka see the light!
Albeniz, J.S. Bach, Bartok, Beethoven, Berlioz, Bizet, Brahms, Britten, Chopin, Copland, Debussy, Dvorak, Liszt, Mendelsshon, Mozart, Offenbach, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Rossini, Schubert, Strauss (Richard), Tchaikovsky, etc..
The real Gods of music! But that's just my opinion.
I also have all the Weird Al Yankovic MP3s I listen to often (All about the Pentiums!!), as well as a big collection of my ex-favorite bands (haven't been to a show for over a year), such as NOFX, Pennywise, Bad Religion. But I keep deleting the directories as time passes. Alas, I came to the philosophical conclusion that punk is a synonym of "bad music artificially turned good just because the number of punkers is growing and because of it's unrationnally fast rythm". Punk is like a plague, but so many people are infected, they can't tell if they're infected or not.
And as for NOFX not being "punk", I'm sorry but Rudimentary Peni is not a good band. I can list a number of reasons why NOFX is "better" (ie, better musicians, as what band stands for, group of people known for being good at music) than Rudimentary Peni, or Crass, or any other "oldschool" punk band.

My list has downsized a bit since the last time I posted.
When drawing, i'm usually only listening to NIN, Atari Teenage Riot, and Prodigy.
