I am just curious as to what everyone listens to (music) while "working". I myself am a very big fan of Moby, FFH, and the sort. I have just recently stared listening to Robert Miles. Anyways, keep it real guys....But what IS "REAL"? its alllll relative. If you are confused about what the hell I am talking about.....so am I.

I listen to:
Tons of Psychedelic Trance, mostly Israelian
(Astral Projection, MFG, Crop Circles, Darshan, Hallucinogen... the list goes on!
Further more I enjoy...
Orbital, Koxbox, Bypass Unit and other techno related stuff.
On top of all this digital music I listen to a lot of 60's and 70's stuff like:
Jimmy Hendrix
The Doors
Jethro Tull
Steppeulvene (hehe..)
and too many other bands to mention here.
And as a moodchanger once in while I blast off to: k0rn, NIN, Marilyn Manson, My Dying Bride and other such stuff...
When relaxing (sleeping) the following breaks the silence:
Enya
David Bowie
I could go on forever...
But I really am a man of many musical interests... which ever suits my current mood!
FUCK BRITNEY SPEARS oh...
Yadayadayada....

Usually when I'm working on art, which is what I usually do while I'm on the computer, I listen to some kind of electronic music, or video game music, which contributes to what I'm drawing, and usually guides my thoughts. I listen to anything I can find, really, that's interesting.
This includes:
Apollo 440
Master Control
Orbital
Underworld
Dune
Propellerheads
Chemical Brothers
Fatboy Slim
Aphex Twin
also:
Reel Big Fish
..and any swing music
music from:
FF7 soundtrack
FF8 soundtrack (I love the piano stuff)
Chrono Trigger
Parasite Eve

Music definitely helps shape my mood for art!
Mostly:
Abba ... A-Ha ... BT_ESCM ... Celtic (various) ... Cocteau Twins ... Crystal Method ... D.O.C. ... Daft Punk ... David Bowie ... Duran Duran ... Future Sound of London ... Joe Satriani ... Kitaro ... Metallica ... NIN ... Nitzer Ebb ... Opus III ... Pet Shop Boys ... Philip Glass ... Princess Princess ... Racer X ... Rebecca ... Red Flag ... Run DMC ... Seal ... Soundtracks: Bubblegum Crisis, Dangaiou, Gallforce Rhea, Iczer, Kimagure Orange Road, Macross, Project A-ko ... and my own music.
Anyone heard of a 'Mr. Oizo?' I might have the spelling wrong, but I saw this great video for a song called Flat Beat... had this little puppet jamming with a phone in his hand. Anybody know that?

I will now attempt to name off every band I have ever listened to while fooling around in photoshop. I will not number, because I cannot count. sorry.
Beck (YEAH! WOOHOO! all right.)
Foo Fighters
Nirvana
Everclear
Oleander
Creed
Old Metallica
Dovetail Joint
The Doors (yeah, I know. Morrison was an idiot.)
Deep Purple
Led Zeppelin
Jimi Hendrix Experience
Moby
STP
All right. My brain is flushed. I only have a 2 minute thought flow. Oh, and by the way, if I listened to that dark, sinister stuff, all of my pics would be of decapitated goats and defored cheese molds. Too gruesome....

well, all saints is *the* gothiest band ever.. (yep, they are. think about it.) and it shows in my work.
oh, but i most certainly have to mention stuff such as Hallucinogen, Rhapsody (yeahyeahyeah, so i fantasize of wearing thighs and armor 24/7, so?), Obituary, Iced Earth, Mikko Kuustonen, Earth Crisis, Members of Mayday (old skool best skool), Morbid Angel, Hammerfall...
and a few bands that others mentioned, such as In Flames, Apollo 440.. hmm. DJ Rap anyone?
Cubanate! C-Tec, Mentallo & The Fixxer..
Velvet Acid Christ too, alot of it, i dig his stuff alot.
hmm.. i strongly dislike people who are too stuck up with one kind of music.. let's take black metalists as an example. half of them don't even like the music, but they need to wear black and pretend as if they loved it and it's their life and whatnot.... soooo ridiculous. and again i'm at it with the shallow examples.
Dick Dale & His Del-tones, Billy Idol too.
anyone ever take stress about liking too much different kinds of music?

You guys need to check out a band called spacetime continuum. Buy the album double fine zone. Its not as hardcore as aphex, photek, orb, fsol. But the dude uses some awsome jazz influences to a back beat. Its AMAZING
