it was mainly directed towards the "old school" forum members, something to show them that I am not what they think I am. Thats all, you would know what I am talking about if you are one of those people.

His right bicep is fucked up. Too big and low. His abs are too small as well. Not a bad drawing otherwise, though.

There's nothing much in the pic that could be defined as good.. or if something is good, it's bad if you look furthere, here watch:
The hand's pretty good! But wait a minute.. it's way too small.. totally out of perspective.
Or
Hey, the right pectoral is pretty good.. but wait a minute, the left one is all wrong! |

Yeah, Dhab's right, sorry.
As to your pic, I could show you a few early pics of mine which were kinda skewed. Try practicing some more simple objects before diving into anatomy. For instance, coffee mugs, books, things around the house. Anything that you can sketch easily. I think your main problem is with proportion at the moment. You've actually put some good shading in there.
When sketching in a book, one of the best ways to check whether you're on the right track is to go up to a mirror and look at the reflection of your drawing. Quite often this shows the areas that are skewed and out of proportion. |

Forget about what he did before. He obviously drew this and is trying to better his skills.
I don't know much about anatomy myself, but I can definitely see some problems. The whole thing is skewed a little. It's all off center. |

The whole chest area has massive problems. I haven't seen anyone to date with abdominals that start that low down before. The positioning of the zyphoid process in your man is way too low, you've given him about 3 or 4 extra ribs.
He looks like he's had open heart surgery, with those wierd marks running down his chest.
Time to haul out the anatomy books eh Gabe.

Well, I thought I might add something positive, though it pains me to do so.
The whole picture seemed to be skewed/distorted a bit like <<A>>
So I took it into photoshop and distorted it to <<B>> to reach a more proportionate drawing and added some lines to try and trim down some stuff I saw, to show how the anatomy was angled and to represent foreshortening.
In a hurry, sorry about the sloppiness.

if you have nothing nice to say or no constructive criticism, just let this thread go, its really not necessary to throw in your insults just for the hell of it.
