Its impossible not affend someone.....thats life.....like my father always said 'Lifes a bitch and then you marry one'....no no..hold on, it was 'Life's a bitch and then you die'.
Thats better, though completely irrelevant.
Showing dead animals isn't neccassary but the viewer has a choice in which attitude to take towards it....I see a dead boar, nothing more nothing less. People look into to things....wanting something to pick at....people are funny....ohwell. |

opened a can of worms here...
Freddio, the difference between an animal killing another for food, and a human killing an animal is that the animal kills out of necessity -- there is no other way for it to survive; it can't conceive of ever surviving off plants. Humans can. That's cruelty: killing and causing suffering not out of necessity, but by choice. Unlike animals, we are conscious, self-reflective beings who can make these kinds of choices.
But just because they don't have self-reflective consciousness or intelligence doesn't mean eating them is justified. Simple proof: it's not okay to slaughter and consume mentally disabled people. Animals feel pain--it's been as scientifically established as is possible without them learning to speak and telling us so. It can never be irrifutably established that they feel pain, but neither can it be established that any human other than yourself experiences pain either -- it's impossible to participate in another's conscious experience. One can only go by evidence, and the evidence says that, like humans, animals suffer.
</rant>
Anyway, I didn't find the post offensive--accidents happen. If Chapel swerved out of his way to hit the thing and portrayed the boar as his triumphant bloody prize, then that might turn me off a little

humans kill animals because they can.
animals kill humans only in extreme conditions.
veggies destroy plants 'cause they can and want to.
plants have no way of doing a fucking thing about veggies.
suck that.

Hey i see dead people blown up by landmines on the news. I read about molested and murdered children in the newspaper - who gives a fuck about a boar that would probably have fucked me up if i came across it without a car?

so why does noone post those bloody blown-apart corpses here?
I dont see so much difference in posting a dead boar or a dead human -
[edit] maybe the difference would be that it would matter less to me if it would be a picture of a human instead of an animal[/edit]
but of course thats my personal view on the things.

Nothing offensive about his pics. To me his smile denoted that he was trying to find the lighter side of his tore up car and soon to be wallet. |

I would never have a wild boar as a pet. My dad was attacked by one of these things when he was in the army. It took a shotgun shot to the head and it still chased him up a tree. |

Interesting thread.
I had no clue there were boars in Florida. I'll be visiting my folks next month in Lakeland. I'll be careful... |

i ran over a bunny rabbit last easter, i stopped the car to see the mayhem i caused and was supprised to see the thing was still alive. the poor little bunny had its back legs torn off, so i did the humane thing and split its skull open with my maglight. i felt bad for the bunny, but at the same time i couldnt stop laughing. i killed a bunny rabbit on easter... |

just because you like the taste of pork, buying and cooking the murdered animals meat still doesnt make it anyless immoral.
there are things worse than dying. after a life of constant pain and suffering, im sure most animals welcome death.
johnboy i dont think you should get upset about this, if there is something to be upset by its all the labratory animals that endure a life of misery.

are one of the worst when it comes to vivisection. killing animals for food or fun is one thing, making animals suffer for no reason is another.
johnboy if you cared about animals you would stop doing this to my cat.
poor kitty kitty

You know, the only reason that kitty is in pain is because it's not sportin' USB or Firewire tech in it's head.
Seriously though... what the fuck do you need a Serial Port for to plug into a cat's head?
[edit - I just removed some shite about how the universe has entropy and demands actions that cause death and misery... but it got too faluttin'. I'll just save it for my comic book idea :P] |

what is wrong with you justin. dont you realize the animals on your plate HAD a REASON to die? at least they werent wasted and just left on the side of the road, they had a meaning, killing this boar was meaningless. its rediclous that this is even still on the forum, i wish that dhabih would take this down. |

johnboy: You act as though I did it on purpose. Instead of moping about the situation I decided to make fun of it. Just the way I am. Go read another thread if it offends you that much.
By the way.. $1400 estimate for repairs. WOOHOO!! I'm having a "Save My Car" charity at my house this weekend. The menu is BBQ Pork. $30 a plate.
That's right.. my jokes get worse.

That picture is not real. Its from a funny-site about cybernetically enhancing cats, ive seen the thing in the past.
And even if i hadnt seen it before, i would still take it as a joke because there is no technical way of connecting a bloody serial port to a cats brain.

this picture is off of www.peta-online.org, and as you can see there is a serial port attached to its head.

That's a photo manipulation.
If not, tell me which cat has an eye so different from the other. It looks like a lion eye in a cat. |

so in a few years when serial is obsolete.....do you upgrade the cat, sell it on ebay for chump-change, or just toss it out?
