I was looking at Spooge's incredible site, (to be a kickass webdesigner he is actually quite a goodt artist.. ) and saw a little tutorial on one of his techniques.. This learned me a few things.. 1, This is a really clever way of doing things 2. DAMN Spooge is good 3. I have a lot to learn. 4. It's easier to make a good picture if you actually have an idea of what you're going to paint... So, this is a little doodle of a guy who went from a armed guard in a street, to a silly looking fisherman or something. Hope it don't turn out all to dark on PC screens... I'm working on a Mac.

A credit go to Spooge for posting the technique, I don't want to hear that I've done any copying. It's just an excercise. It's funny to experiment with a totally different look.

Hey Kjetil I too was amazed at Spooge's site...i'm trying to understand his method.

If you go to micke's latest post *it's super hilarious and well done*, Spooge wrote a technique he uses "sizing" i guess you'd call it.

Perhaps you or someone else can tell me where
the "Float" tool in photoshop is? or how to size something down using the Numeric Transform tool??

anyways i think your image is a pretty damn good start man
