hi

here are some animated gifs of 3d models i did lately. please tell me what you think about them. sorry for the bad colors... i still did not found an programming algorythmus that maps truecolor to 256 color (gif) more optimal.

please check also http://www.jzone.de/java/movie/index.htm . There are some Java Applets that show some of these 3d-objects combined in little movies.

greetings
peter

i can't believe no one replied to this.
Nice stuff you got going on there. Yeah, the gif anims slaughtered your images. I'm just getting back into 3D and one of the things I'm going to be doing is low poly stuff. What program did you use for these? I'm guessing max??

thanks for your reply !
no i did not used max to build these 3d objects... i thought of an own 3d format and made an own 3d-editor to build the objects ( downloadable from http://jzone.de ). the textures are made with photoshop and the great wacom pen
ciao

the skull reminds me of a lot of the folk art surrounding "El Dia de Los Muertos" a mexican holiday for honoring the dead.

yup.

love the creature at the bottom. looks like he's about to do something he shouldn't be.

the walking sequence has alot of problems with it, primarily caused by the left step. it looks like he's trying to get over something with an ache in his shoulder hehe

overall, really neat. i actually like how it messed up the colors.
