This question may sound stupid, but this forum has a lot of very talented people. And a lot of the imagery that frequents the threads are very similar in nature. [preamble over]
I know this question is relevant to those forum goers who are presently working or have worked as professional artists, whether as staffers or freelancers. (sorry to leave out the up and comers),
But is the work that is being posted stuff that is generated while you are on the clock, or are the postings just of things that you may find interesting to draw?
I am really curious to see what people do for a living. I know there are many here who have posted in the past, stuff they have done for their jobs. However, I am asking that everyone posts one thing they have done into this thread, which would fall into the "I got paid to do this" category. Sort of extending the "forum members occupation list", and taking it a step further by providing an example of their work.
I ask this cause, as I said before, the stuff that I see going through here, is really cool, and I know that everyone doesn't work at the same place, so it would be kind of interesting to see where your creative minds "hang out" when on the clock.
I know due to agreements and clauses, alot of you guys can't post work. I know I'm one of those, but if you can, do so. Maybe make this an archive of the forums professional portfolio. "Dhabih, hint, hint" If this has been mentioned before, and I missed it could someone direct me to the thread, if not.....I'm going to post and hopefully not get fried for it.
I guess it will be okay since this is out in stores This is mostly what I do, packaging illustrations, for some well known brands. However my job spills over into product renderings, logos, and high end retouching. This image was produced as a final product, using Pshop and a good ol' mouse, as are most of all the things I do.
later, "and thanks for your time", now enough with the quotation marks, I'm starting to feel like I'm trapped in an Austin Powers movie

Although I like to draw and paint fantasy art and model in 3d for fun. I do graphic art for a living.
This is some freelance work I did for a packaging company in jersey called Reckitt and Benkiser. I don't know if it will be on the shelf or not sometimes it takes a year or so for the markiting people to make up there minds and take care of legle stuff. I do have some frenches mustard stuff that should be on the shelf soon.

Screen shot from the game I'm working on. All of the art in this shot was drawn by me. |

i feel your pain, wOOp.. high school here too
i work at Tour Graphics and Design, Inc. as a graphic artist. As for a portfolio, we usually do work for clients, so i don't have much of the work i create with me. One of our current project, though is www.golfcourses.com , for which i make graphics and do layout for, alongside NPak and Scrapper.
My last job was a temp, there's not any portfolio work to speak of there

I work for a small web design company called Sitesplash. Sitesplash is actually one of 3 companies all owned by the same individual...so I really work for all three. I did the sitesplash site and all the client's sites. I get to draw some, but mostly do a lot of flash work. I also do a lot of advertising in magazines and movie theatres for the other two companys, Solarsoft, and Sandollar Tanning Resorts. I did their sites as well.

The next image is for my own personal site which is hosted by Sitesplash.com
