I don't really think we need those topics with full capital letters - this isn't AOL - but anyway;

This is the result of a really boring math lesson.
I'm just practicing on drawing eyes..
Took about one minute.
I did it with a ballpoint pen, never used those to draw before, i love it now...
anyhow, here it is, not much though.

damn, my server is slow today.

The original is about 1x1cm wide...

I was doodling on my lunch break yesterday, and when my art director saw it, she loved it. So I finished it out and it might get used on a current project. Go figure

This is a post for a friend of mine, since he can't remember his password -

since I haven't been doddling lately (naughty) I'll share an old sketch.
It's what I imagine armand the vampire looks like; maybe without such a long nose.

some reason painter and photoshop wouldn't

Ben Barker; Levelord was actually very keen to buy it when he saw the image but since it's really the only non-digital bit of art I've done I didn't want to sell it.

Faust; looking very cool there. Your abstract style is starting to get more realistic looking forms which is good! It almost feels like a real 3 dimentional object, you just need to be a little more exacting with where the light source is so that the direction and depth of the cast shadows is consistant around the whole object, and is also consistant with where the highlights are being placed.

Row.

i gave up trying to make it look like something. it's just something. i also gave up the thought of using a defined light source. it just is.

i wish i had my very first drawings ever.

i seem to recall at least one of them was a massacre thing. with some car like things driving over masses of people.

it took alot of effort to make that out of the drawing, it was quite abstract.

OMG Micke, that is just too adorable =)

I have tons of my first drawings, although they are more like paintings. I remember taking a painting class when I was 7 and the painting I did then was better than what I could do now. *giggles*

Hmm... I think this is probably my favorite piece that I have done. I have done a couple others that I really like but I don't have them scanned in. I really like this one because it was a lot of tedious hard work, and it was a medium I had never tried before.

That's scratchboard for those that can't tell.
