Regarding your pic- it's looking nice... you should work more on adding contrast to the face itself, and to the image as a whole- in order to create a better sensation of depth.
Another thing that bothered me about the image is the lack of detail in the face, in relation to the extreme detail in the shirt.. adding some more detail in the face, particulary the eye area, or reducing the amount of detail in his shirt will make this image feel more even, graphically.
as to tablet sizes- i'm working happily on an A6 model (grahpire) - it's perfect for me, so i guess it's all down to your taste and drawing habits. |

Thats a nice pic.
I work on a 12 x 12 intuos at work and I have a (borrowed) 5x4 pen partner at home.. the difference is almost a system shock cuz it takes me a while to get used to the change...
not that thats useful or anything.

Tayete, I would be grateful if you could tell me some info about where are you going to buy it, because I'm having trouble finding one here, in Pamplona. Oh, and a price would be great too, I haven't found a price in pts.
Thanks in advance, and good painter "test"

Allright, I've decided to buy (though they are soooo expensive here in Spain) a Wacom tablet. I was thinking of the A5 size, because my wife would kill me if I purchase an A4.
But...is it too different working in an A5 than an A4? Does it makes you feel uncomfortable an A5 size?
And, here's my last sketch with Painter 6:

Hi Ragnarok! I've received several offers from on-line shops here in Madrid (though they send the tablets to your home, so you should have no problem).
The prizes are: http://www.infotodo.com/ a 54.900 Pts + IVA y portes (se han pasado)
and the one I think I'll choose: http://www.obipc.com/ 49.178 Pts puerto serie o 58.426 Pts en USB. Ambas con IVA incluido, y portes de 1.500 Ptas a aadir. |
