akira.. you have motion down pretty good as far as gestures go. Might i suggest putting 2 guys now and do a bit of a story rather than test movements? would be cool to see.

I wanna do animations too :p
Look at synj, he can't model for s*** but animations are cool! hehehe. Anyways what you all using for this? NURBS? Hmm need some SnagIt tutorials to see how exactly you go about creating this stuff =]

AKIRA bum, you're like synj - updating new version with 10 more frames of animatyion :( Just put some effort into it YO! Make a 2 min movie of him hangin' off a tree and then falling on one of the synj'es characters LOL so their triangular wax head squishes into oval!!!!

Weeeeeeee.... (wee was copyrighted by me, synj, and you stole it!)

Thank you for your kind coments..

He is buildt with splines in 3D studio MAX. Added a surface modifier, and then collapsed it into an editabel patch. This means I can animate him with a low resolution, and when he is renderd..he has a high resolution. The animation is done with the help of a Biped, and Physique. Then I simply keyframe the animation, move body parts and store it as a keyframe, and MAX interpolates between the keyframes.

hey shizo: I out updated my links section [evilsiteplug] with some animation links recently. So if you are curious about animation drop by.

Akira: animation looks nice, but as synj said a little story would be great!

Nurms/Nurbs are hard to understand, they act kinda strange. If you understand more of Nurbs then anything else..splines will be a breeze, MUCH easier to understand..just takes some learning.

check out the spline tutorials at
