... or are people that talk to themselves scary as shit?

At our office here there's a woman that happens to have her desk next to mine (we have three straight desks angled to a octagon, or whatever you call them thingamebobs), anyways, she's constantly talking to herself going like: What's this? Oh that's interesting? WHY DOESN'T THIS BASTARD WORK?!?! If I do this it should turn out red...

stuff like that... and it totally freaks me out, dunno why... annoying as hell =)

Is it just me that feels like this?

(should the person happen to be crosseyed as well I would probably have nightmares caus those people are freaky too

)

Hehe, me and another designer here have a standing bet, I bet that she will quit due to stress within three months (she get stressed out over the time it takes for photoshop to save an image on a 450 mhz) and he bets that she will be collected by some nice men in white overalls within the next 3 months...

We also keep statistics on her:

I'm going nuts = 10 times

This isn't true!! = 9 times

exCUSE meee! = 14 times

I know those ppl and find them pretty scary too.

they are either hyper intelligent and crazy or just plain crazy.

The former type you meet on the university as they wander the corridors at dawn mumbling strange cryptic formulae under their breath only to stop once in a while to look fully concentrated at some random object standing on the corridor (like an ashtray).
And the others normally sit opposite me in the train or underground. those are the ones that just killed their whole familiy with a mixer or are about to do it when they come home.

I talk to myself when I'm alone and sometimes under my breath when other people are around. I can see how that would be annoying, but I don't think she's crazy.
