I am moving my site so I thought I would revamp my logo before doing a complete makeover of my site. The logo was done in PS.
Crits, comments, flames.

REally like it, but I'm afraid that the text MINDSTORM really doesn't fit in. Maybe try engraving it on the logo or even have a seperate panel underneat and engrave that with mindstorm. (you know.. the way they do it on those hunting plaques ) |

nice design, but is that going to be a logo for your company ? I mean its an awesome design but maybe a lil too complex..
It takes away all interest in reading the name of the company. And to think of it, it seems all the effort was put on the design of that image and no attention was paid to the writting. How about try to blend both of them together a lil more and perhaps ease out on the complexity of the design.. ?
Just things ive learned in a class about logos, signs and symbols, hope its helpful..
Mind you, it is just MY opinion.
Really nice image though, I have to mention that !

I really think you should do a bit of design work on how those four blades are attached to the disk. They seem kind of tacked on. I think the horns should integrate with the frame better. Why do they go behind the frame? How about the curve forward, instead of being perpendicular to the skull.
Just some ideas - take 'em at face value. Keep up the good stuff.

Thanks for crits/comments! I find them inspirational and motivational and they keep me on the right track.
EviLToYLeT: The text is temporary for now.
I have a few different ideas for the text.
Spydur: I would love to have a clock that looks like this.
Seph|roth: Understandable but this is just for my art gallery site.
marc_taro: The design and the pieces were created on seperate layers and were designed in a way for animation in Flash.
The blades are only attaqched by one pin onto a small disk because they will be swinging out. I need to have them attached in a way that they can swing. If I turned the horns inward then they would get in the way when the blades swing. You have made me think about the horn placement though and I may mess around and see what I can come up with. The outer rings will rotate and when it stops the blades will swing out.
Only the center of this piece will remain motionless.
