Well, cats have their defenses, and they can deal some serious pain, but anyway, if I was in your position I would have done something with that guy, like throwing him to the floor and maybe let the cat do the rest of the job. Or just shout him.
Sincerely, that guy was sick, although I've seen worst things regarding animals.

Listen, fuck the owners, I wouldn't kick a kitty kat cause I'm scared of them. I mean, I get on good with cats but sometimes you catch them looking at you, you look back and they can hold your gaze. I just wonder what they're thinking, or if they're just distracting you while their mate circles to the back of you...

You'll get far in life by not upsetting cats.

Thats all I'm saying.

he most likerly has a mental disorder.

what really angers me is that he abused evil.
acts of wanten destruction and evil are best left to experts such as myself.

This'll piss you off.

Last Guyfalks(sp) there were seperate incidents where the lovely humane parties involved put fire works in ducks mouths fire crackers in a cats asses and burnt a dog alive.....

I attempt to fathom the way in which think in order to behave like this....I can't, people always amaze me, though rarely in a positive way. Sad

I dislike children. But I don't go around kicking them when I see them walking on the street. This (and hopefully a few million brain cells) separates me from the aforementioned a-hole.

We have a 733MHZ single CPU G4 too, and the 500 tears it to shreds...

El Maneating Kitty : sure thing. Lets spread the word on the glory of flatscreen LCD.

The thing is 22" by the way. At least, thats what Apple says about it. Id swear it was 23 though.

Attacking someone's pet is rather rude because socially, a pet is an extension of the person who owns it.... both in property, care, monetary value to a small degree and really, really represents an active bond with other creatures, be they human or non-human.

Attacking someone's pet is an indirect attack against that person and was made out of contempt for the social structure in general.

Hating other creatures can be either genetic or a learned response. My dog for instance... hates little kids 5 and under... it's the voice and their size (bite size!) He also is very protective cause he is part Chow and always barks at the doorbell and runs into the other room to check who the invader is and bark some more at them. For my dog, the hate is definitly a genetic limitation on his part... we yell at him and shake about and bark at him to stop and even give him treats and pet him... but nothing works - he can't easily comprehend guests by the doorbell.. only by the smell through the door. The dog books say Chow's were bred to be territorial.

Anywho, that man that almost kicked your kitten showed a surprising amount of physical restraint for a dog... er uhm, I mean human :P

Uh... I think I had a point to make... somewhere... :P

I think Nex's first comment summed it up best! My mom managed to nurse a sick cat back to health here so we've got two black and white ones at home now. The first one we got from my sister's friend who couldn't keep him. He's a big guy now (not as big as the stray we've adopted though!) and we call him Shadow as he follows me around. I also liked 'The Shadow' so we thought that was cool. We just lost one of our cats to cancer that my family and I had since we were small kids. Bows was around 18 years old or so and still loving as can be for the most part. Unfortunately cancer set in rapidly in her jaw so she couldn't chew properly and we had to put her to rest. My wife and I have 3 cats at our home in Iowa, all that were essentially strays. Now they are all housebroken cats. Since I can't be with my wife yet, the 3 cats keep her company in bed at night. When I'm there, it's even more crowded. Oh yeah, I'm allergic to cats. hahaha!
