Even though I'm still sick, I thought I'd take my kitten for a walk today. He needs some exercise (poor thing is getting a bit chubby!)

Anyway, we were walking along peacefully, he never bothers anyone, and I was standing some twenty feet away, looking at how the light was reflecting off the snow (I get caught like that sometimes)... when I see, out of the corner of my eye, how some guy walks up to my kitten and tries to kick him.

I'm not kidding, the guy actually WALKS up to MY kitten and tries to KICK the poor thing! *fumes*

*coughs* Okay, I'm calming down now. Don't think I've been that pissed off in a good long while, though. Good thing for that guy he didn't actually MANAGE to kick the cat, or I don't know what I'd have done

He called me a "bitch" though.... grr...

(Edit) Spelling!

people like these honestly scare me.
It makes me wonder if I live on the same planet they live on.

Yah.... sad world. But what can I say, there are some people out there who are like that. Maybe you should go buy your cat a treadmill instead

Ceenda: I know... it just rather scared me, in a way. And I truly, really, utterly hate people who hurt animals...

Chapel: Heheh, damned if I'd know what to do, though. Club him down once he turned his back to me? Wait until he had wandered into a dark alley and then slice his ears off? Or perhaps follow him all the way home, climb into his window at night, and then poke out his eyes with a pencil?

EvilToYLeT: I don't think Azrael would like that very much

Nothing like that... find out where he lives. Take a nice candid picture of him. Crop it on to a nekkid guy doing the naughty with an animal. Have it blown up poster size and put it in his lawn. Might cost a little something but it would be funny.

Awww, hell, wish I had thought of that!!

*sniff* I'll just have to wait until I get pissed off at someone else... *glances around her neighbourhood for a likely victim*

lol ..thats damn funny
why were you walking your kitten in the first place? ive never seen people do that before, i guess i would have to live in sweden to understand it.

as for the guy kicking your kitten, maybe he thought it was a rat. small kittens and large rats look very similar. a hahaha...
im taking a guess, maybe its a long shot, but you are a female right? dont you carry mace or pepper spray; im just wondering cause if that happened to me that guy would have made numero uno on my stablist.

Well, I once saw a girl walking with a small fluffy rabbit.

Think about that

Yes, I walk my kitten. He's the best kitten in the entire world I don't even have a leash on him, but he follows me around anyway.

He's not THAT small, though, he's about five months.

Two days ago, a kid saw me and Azrael crossing the street (me dressed in a long black beginning-of-the-century coat, and he being a black kitty) and actually screemed "mommy, mommy, look at the witch!"... I'm not sure how I'm supposed to take that :/

Anyway, no, I don't have any mace. I think it's illegal in Sweden.

(Edit) Spelling... grr...

Haha! You're supposed to take the witch thing as a compliment. Then you're supposed to aim the Evil Eye at the kid in question, and mutter things about frogs. And then have a two way conversation with Azzy about kid soup.

If the kid's still there, then, you smile.

Just hearing about that makes ME mad... what an ass hole

When someone tries to hurt something as defenseless as an animal or a child, it really goes to show you what a pansy they really are. It's pretty pathetic that they have to attain "power" by such cheap actions :\

grrr....

I guess I mostly hissed at him and told him that if I'd ever catch him hurting my cat, I'd cut his balls off (I used other words, but that was the general context).

I tend to lose my temper where my Azrael is concerned, but I was /really/ pissed off. People hurting animals (or trying to, as was the case here) really tick me off, I can have quite a temper when provoked :/

He told me that I was a bitch and that he didn't give a damn about what I said :P Sometimes I wish I was a big, muscular guy, that way I could have kicked HIM instead!

Well, at the end of the day Enayla, the kitten wasn't hurt and the guy was obviously some kind of mentally demented idiot (we have a wonderful word in Scots - Fuckwit!).

Don't get upset about it or he will have succeeded in what he set out to do.

If he had succeeded in actually harming the animal, then that would have been much more serious.

SlightlyTwisted: Heheh, you're probably right about that. I think the kid's mom might've been a bit upset if I had done that, though.

Jezebel: I agree completely. I have a huge problem with people who can even /consider/ hurting an animal (or child, if you will).

(heh, I actually had a crush on a guy once, and we were talking at a party - things were looking pretty good. Then he told me he hated cats. That's about as much as I need to know I'm not interested in someone )

Track the fucker down and cut him in little pieces. Feed those to the cat.

Cats are holy and not to be harmed by anyone - to do so should be punishable by death. *growls*

Spitfire: Heheh, yeah, I'd like that. I'm not sure if Azzy likes raw human flesh, but what the hey... I can always cook it and serve it to my friends if he disapproves

Nex: *laughs softly* No, but you did now

I had a college partner (a girl) who hated small children. She coudn't stand them at all.
I guess she will change in the future.

About hurting animals, well they are just animals. I don't like to hurt neither animals nor persons but I think people is more important than animals.

Hrm... I'm not even going into the subject of whether or not it is worse an animal, or to hurt a person.

Think of it like this: What kind of sick bastard would kick on a living being that has NO way of defending itself?
