thanx, hum... , i make pen&ink on paper then i use photoshop (really?!?) for the colors: i make a layer for each level (?--don't know the exact english term)... i mean 1 layer for the foreground, 1 layer for the character and the electronic stuff, 1 layer for the background...then i play with spotlights to give more depth...
colors are just selections filled with colors & changing brightness ... |

Cool. there is a lot of nice detail in the picture. Cigarrette butts, pills. I could look at this for a while.

Looks very good, don't hesitate posting your stuff. Nice linework, style and colors. Only the shading is kinda flat, what makes it hard to get a feeling of depth in that trash-filled room. Play with the lightsources. Then again, a different shading might ruin the style...just a thought.
Ah, and welcome to the board, man! |

Hey... very nice pic! Nice to see a picture with so many details, it can capture you for a while. I would like to see more of this...
I have all episodes of LAIN on DVD, and it's very interesting, moody and well executed, even though the animation seems a little static once in a while.

thanx...hum... yeah, i like lain & matrix, i alwais loved the idea of being connected, that it's like a prison, faking your real life... my inspiration for the style is mainly geoff darrow... the tiny details give more life, it's like he's been there before and he'll be there after you looked the drawing...you see?
Anyway, what is "shadow world"?... |
