Question 1: I hope this doesn't sound to stupid, but does anyone know why when you post pics some people have there pic show up on page and some people just have a click able link to there pic?
Question 2: I'm running AOL and I'm using Geocities to post my stuff. I'm having a hell of a time uploading my pics to the Geocities server. I get a message that the pic has uploaded but when I go to the index and click on the link I get a blank page and a error message. One of my friends says that it is AOL. Could that be true dose AOL stink for file transfer or is something not set up right? |

i can help you with question 1..
it depends on preference. some images are huge, so people link rather than posting them.

Have a look at the Frequently Asked Questions up there ^ on the sijun-forum. Deals with posting images.
Some servers don't allow linking to pictures from another site (i.e. angelfire AFAIK), so you have to put a link in your posting instead of the UBB tag to show your pic. |
