Well, I just played the demo and have been for the past week. It is really fun. For some reason I really enjoyed it. But there are some major flaws within the game. First up.

1) When he holds the sniper rifle and he looks through the scope, he's not moving a bit...he's holding it perfectly still

2)His accent is terrible - ok not a major flaw

That's seriosly about it. I LOVE the game though...it's just so much fun shooting through walls!

Nice cg by the way...sorry to go off topic

Nice work! I'd like to see the movies, too. Crits? Mmmmm... would be nitpicking. Let's see those movies!
Awww, beautiful lowpoly-babe there!

Thx for all the nice feedback.
The intro is being rendered into div-x as we speak (or as I speak )
I'll give some answers now first:

chapel, thx a lot for the kind words

napalm, are you still at work, hehe. Coming soon to a theatre near you

axl, thx. IGI stands for "I'm Going In" ...it suck, I know.

daz199, thx

francis, thanks a lot.

frost, thx to you too

bg, thx. Yeah, MG solid 2 looks too good to be true.

shizo, thx. Hehe, I think IGI will be on warez when it will be released. Though, I don't mind if it won't

jerry, thx. No, the game will be out mid december.

dreddawg, thx. I used the max shader. For realtime, it's almost no point to to otherwise. It's to simple objects to get a propoer look, unless it's all being faked. So, I think almost like if it was a picture, and not putting my trust into the calculated light and shadows alone.

fianchetto, thx. Yes we did use max for it all.

eetu, coming soon

maruman, thx. Read my comments above

toast!, hehe thx I guess

eviltotheeye, thx. Hmm, I guess it must be because it's so simple modeled. But, maybe you mean the microphone as well, that comes down to her mouth ?!?

sergenth, thx...hehe, maybe

nova, yes, the technology was based on the game we did first here at Innerloop. I flight sim called JSF. But, it's been all remade and improves, it's just the basic idea that has been kept.

robt, hehe, thx...

DHabs, thx alot.

nex, thx. Hehe, I totally agree. The reason why we kept the name, is that we never bothered to come up with a new one.Infact, it was a guy workng here before that just said that name as a joke, and for some VERY odd reason, we sticked with it. But, perosnally I don't care. thae name says it all, and games hasn't come as far as movies, to they are fitted to be cheezy, I think.

bizarde, hop you like it.

ghost, very soon !

napalm, hehe, yes, i guess there's some collision bugs on the death anims. . . atleast for the main characters. Or, maybe you just managed to chop off his body ?!?

amnesia, I agree. there's plney of bad things to comment on. But, it's hard to make a game that has it all. More or less impossible I think. But, I don't say that we couldn't do better. But it's our firts try at 1st pers. shooters, so next time will be mucho better

shadowman, thx !

superbug, well, I agree. Peronally, since I've worked with it, I could come up with thousands of things to improve. ABout the sniper though, it's a good idea, but that not something I think we separate ourself from others, aren't it like this on almost every game ?!? The scope stands still ? But, it could be relly cool with some shake, maybe a shake that increased over time.

kimzoll, thx a lot. I feel that we are really welcome in your company. And, I'm happy to be a part of it. You should invite some more of your fellow artists from you office to this forum. I sa a low of great artwork in your offices.

jaymo, thx

THx again !1 minute left of the avi

OK, now it's finished.
Sorry, for being slow
IGI intro 23mb

Well, to say a few words. It's not much storytelling in it. It's just a start for the game, and a cheezy one too, I know . I won't put out the outro just yet, though it's quite short and doesn't reveal much, I kind of spoil the fun for those who will play it, don't you think ?!? So, I can post that later.

Hi Joachim!

REALLY great work!
Those Screenshots are great, I'm just downloading the intro sequence.
I played the demo too and enjoyed the whole mood and style of the game...but one little thing: I thought the ladderclimbing-anims are a bit strange...that was the only thing I noticed...however, as I said, everything else looks really great!

I wonder (and I hope) if it is really ok for your company, if you put those movies on the net...
a co-worker of one of my friends got in real trouble by just putting some screenshots of a game he worked on onto his webpage.

regards

togusa, thx.
Hehe, about if it's ok for my company. Well, the game is out in a few weeks. The demo is allready released, the reason why the intro wasn't there, was just because it shouldn't take too much space. All the screenshots we have given away, etc, has been approved from Eidos, so I think it should be ok

2 weeks from now, the game is out, so I don't think I can do much harm
