My friend and I were playing that drawing game of ours, where we think of a topic, creat an image in 30minits, then come back and see what we've done. The idea was an evil flying city. His was much better than mine in concept, so after it was done, I revamped his and this is the result.
I changed a few composition things, added more detail, and just gave it a 'nicer' feel to it.
hope you guys like it

Nice.
Wish I had a friend to do such things with.
Sounds like fun.

Hehe.. kinda hard to tell taht the sities are actaully flying. Might want to make the abse that the cities on more solid or apparent. Or you could try clouds for the city base. Also , what might be great is if you showed a little bit of earth covered by clouds to get the effect of being very high. Or maybe even add an airplane in somewhere as peoples means of getting onto the islands,
btw, adding in perhaps birds will give a great sense of height.

Sweet, I love Escaflowne. Its the best anime series I've seen. Weird, I thought this picture would get more comments than the Ice Palace one. I can see why i guess
Me thinks i'll just whip up a redo and see what ya'll think |
