Maybe two posts from one person in a day is a bad thing. Especially if it's coming from me. But I did it anyway and now we all have to deal with the consequences. I was thinking it might be cool if one of the better painters out there would help us out. "Us" being anyone like me who thinks they know nothing about painting, or very little. They could pick out a photoreference for us to paint from and we could all post our progess. This way we would hopefully learn more about the actual painting process, which I currently suck terribly at. If anyone else thinks this is a good idea that would be great, especially if you are good at painting and have any free time to enact this little project. If no one does oh well, it will soon be bumped down to fourth page obscurity.

If you are really that eager to learn. it's recommended that you take painting lessons, figure drawing classees and so forth. but in the meantime, do do a search on the past tutorials. also cfheck out 3dpalette.org's armory section.

oh i didnt know they did this before, but i had repeatedly read all their tutorials, and will continue to do so. Unfortunately, im 15,and my school's art program royally sucks. I tried taking a class at a college but they're weren't any good ones available. All we did were drawings of bottles and boxes. I do realize thats important, buts it's something i could do on my own, and there was no shading involved. The rest of the people were college students and they were asking me for help. Right now i have a really busy schedule and am trying to pursue art and painting(digitally) in my off time, but the painting portion hasn't really been working. So I kinda turned to this forum as a last resort, knowing that I would still probably get nothing out of it. Anyway, sorry to waste all your time, I realize your all busy people(see other post) thats my stupid art life story thingy, I'll go back to my mishappen paintings now.. ;-)
