Nice one Rinaldo, I really love the feel.
A couple of things strike me as looking odd though. The direction the Mexican if facing is a bit ambiguous - his 'cape' (wrong word - I know) and head make it appear as if he is facing the monster, with his head turned left, whilst the body below the cape appears as if it is facing the viewer. - I love the brushwork on him though, especially the tattered ends whipping in the wind. The colours used on his white shirt look great too, very realistic.

I really like the sketches too - they remind me of Labyrinth.

Rinaldo: WOW, great stuff, I really like the expression on the beast, Extremely angry, yet incompetent. hehe. I like the cowboy's pose. If you continue to work on it, you should work on the monster's back and how the shoulderblades affect its shape, also the top of the shoulder seems a little flat for the angle its raised in relation to his ribcage.

When I put up my page, we'll have to swap links. hehe.

Great sketches, keep'm coming, I want more

P.S. I'm really bummed that you and Joachim and Fianchetto and Chapel are all on early in the morning while I'm still asleep. whaaahhh!

phreaknasty-Thanks, I was going for a sort of psycho look with the monster's eyes. they do need a highlight I think.
I'm sorry to report that I turned 19 this August. I'll be watching out for any gangs of hired thugs protecting your future job opportunities, although I don't think you have anything to worry about.
I'll see what I can do about a bigger version

Vortx-hey thanks for taking the time out to chuck a few comments my way I know how busy you are.
I'm not pro yet, but I'm working on it. looking at becoming a game artist like your incredibly inspiring self.

Wow! I really love the pose. The mexican looks like he's saying "Well, don't worry, it's just a 80 feet tall green monster". I really like that he's not worried about the monster, it makes me think that he has special secret powers or so. I would just fix the monster's mouth. The sketches are superb too. Cool cool cool.

Hiya Rinaldo!

Wow! That pic is incredibly dynamic! The sense of action is excellent.

Just a few crits from me. The shading on the underside of the hat looks kinda funny, I think perhaps there's too much light given that his face is quite light but the area of the hat near the face is quite dark. Does that make sense??? Also, some more dust clouds behind the monster would be cool as well.

Great stuff!
