The part of New York where I live is really boring. I don't have much to do and you don't have a life in my town unless you play sports.
Frankly enough, I hate sports. And since everyone here takes them so seriously, I hate them even more.
Two summers ago though, I made some bike trails in these woods near where I live. They are great. It's probley the most exciting thing around here to do.
Although I am only 14, my brother is older, and he and his friends complain about the lack of things to do too, so it's not just for my aged people.
We do have a bank. Some bars. Lots of fast food. Some nice resturants. Really good pizza. A bowling alley two towns away. uhm, a really scummy downtown. A nice ice cream parlor. That's about all. :\
What does everyone on here do for fun? I really need to get out more too.
Oh yeah, there are some good sledding hills here!
I guess this really all occures to me now because I was watching like, the discovery channel a couple of weeks ago. And they have these towns where every corner you go, there is something interestring. And all these really neat things all over. It just gets me to thinking how many cooler places there are to live and visit. I'm sure there alot of cool things in the US, and alot of cool things other places as well. But until I'm 18, I can't see them unless I convience my parents to take the family there for vacation. |

Where i live now is just another lame quiter place in USA. But only now i can truly value the place where i wa sliving before! Moscow, Russia - Arbat street. Rockers, punks, druggies, whores, white house just a couple minutes away.. lol
In winder its too cold so you sleep in a coat. In summer its too hot :o
Sometimes you get militia and demonstrants battle it out, and on a rare annual occasion you get tanks shooting the white house windows! Weeeeee... perfect place for faustgfx bum to live! I've lived in Helsinki, Finland for a short time, and i must agree that its pretty boring there too.

I live in Portola Valley California, which is right next to Palo Alto, home of Stanford University. There are lots of trees here, which lead to lots of nights during high school going out into those trees and partaking of the flower of a different kind of plant. In general, the place is chill, but there's isn't much for the youth; it's somewhere to retire or raise kids, but not to be raised.
And yes, faust's comment was aimed at you, ex.

I live in Mill Creek, Washington (State). I kind of like it here. I have to travel a few miles to Lynnwood, Everett or Seattle to have a good time out saturday nights though.. of course that's other than going to friends' houses. Oh yeah, about the houses.. they're big and closely packed together, with evergreen trees all around, mostly. There are good and bad things about that, maybe you can imagine. Lynnwood is a great place, there's the mall and two movie theatres real close as well as a few nice restaurants open late. Everett.. well.. it's Everett. It's known for being trashy and lower-class, but has a a few great swing dance places and the occasional rave. Seattle is.. well.. Seattle. It's all good. Just think long black coats, goatees (guys) and coffee. There is a rave almost every weekend (i don't go.. sad.) and there are tons of clubs and concert places with some great bands, famous and infamous. Jazz too. Oh yea, Seattle is where the grunge movement started.
I live in Mill Creek because i've been here all my life and my parents moved here from Mountlake Terrace, from Lynnwood, from Argentina. People are too nice here though. I liked people better in NY when i visited this past summer.

I have been recently thinking of all the different places people live.
Where do you live? What do you think about where you live? Do you live there by choice? What are the ups and downs of where you live? What are some really fun things you do there.
I'm just wondering. |

I was just wondering what is every on here's credit card #? and how about your mothers maiden name? maybe social security!?? heh reminds me actualy of my life drawing class, where my 90 year old prophessor was doing late registration, and whenever somone tried to register he'd ask for their soc security #... and ask them to please yell it cus he's half deaf.... the whole class was joking about that.....
anyways I live in Oak park, strangely enough it allso says that on the sidebar under my name! as for by choice or not, well not by choice, but I've got nothing against this boring anoying place,

You figure it out.
I like it. A few years back I hated it but now I'm over that and have realized that home sweet home and all that.
Live out of necessity, looking to move to England or the States, but if that doesn't pan out, I don't MIND staying here actually.
Ups: uhh, you have to have lived here to appreciate it I suppose.
Downs: a mild version of Tampere, if Faustgfx is to be believed.

Today on the bus on the way to school, I noticed people assembling the letters for a new sign on the vacent store in the old Perkins. When I was coming home from my tutor tonight, I saw the sign completed. It said 'Cool Beans' Coffee House. hehe, we're getting a new coffee shop! :P |
