here's something more traditional. I illustrated over a sketch someone else did (forgot his name - if you're out there, reading this, let me know, I'll include your credit) - the perspective mistakes were in the otherwise great original drawing, but I didn't notice them until much later, so I didn't correct them. Me lame. Purpose of this illustration was to show a 3dartist what kind of color, details and other attributes needed to be in a specific model.
It's about 1.5 years old and was sleeping on my hard disk.

WOW! Kick ass. That is fantastic, the colours, the textures etc. I can see the perspective issues with the jaw but it is a bit subtle. I can understand the light source is coming from the right but the side of the face still looks a little too dark and I think on some of the edges there should be a few more highlights. Still its just splitting hairs.
P.S. - great to see another post.

Don't worry Jezebel.. it looks nothing like you.
Yo Loki you slummin today or what? I'm not too big on this picture. Looks like his stout? (I think I just made that word up) or mouth area is a little distorted. Looks like it is twisted.
2 posts and no blimp or landscape. You are letting me down. |

The original resolution is around 2.5K for that one. Took me a few days as far as I remember. Was done as part of the production-design for a movie ...

Hey Loki, I like. One thing: could you post the sketch you traced over. The only post I've ever done on this forum was very similar....makes me curious. I kinda doubt it was mine considering my sketch doesn't have a bottom jaw so to speak... |
