I think your style is interesting, your colors too, but your anatomy is all wrong. That's not a big problem though, you just need to check a book or a basic tutorial about proportions and shapes of the body and you could produce some really cool looking pics. Trust me, try to learn just a little anatomy and your images will improve a lot.

I have some book recommandations if you want.

Keep up the good job (and the postings)

This is my latest work. I've gone for a higher res this time and then resized down. I've used micke's comments from a previous post and I feel that I've made a better piece although there's still room for improvement.
Anyway tell me what you think.
Thanks.

Sorry, times zones and all that. I think this has definite potential. As it was stated, just a few more anatomy tweeks on this and it would be fantasic. I kinda like the bold color usage, but it almost seems out of place with the browns and greys of the ninja's outfit. Maybe thas just me

Thanks for your comments Isric. You don't have to apologies for time difference, nothing we can do about that.

Both black_fish and Isric mentioned some small problems with the anatomy. This being my own art it's hard to see where the problems are so can anyone point out the faults.

I agree you dont see it in your own pics sometimes. OK, dont be pissed off, The torso is too short, so is the neck, the shoulders look odd and the arms seem to be just stuck on the sides of the body. Its a very nice pic though I liked it soon as I saw it, but like the others said, practise your anatomy, because your painting techniques are very good.

I wish I had time to whip up a demonstration, but right now he seems like he's posted up on a board (if you have any idea what i mean). Its kind of hard to find the balance in a 'bold' position, he has to be large and forcefull yet fluid. This can be hard, and like i said, I wish i could make something for you. Just practice with some thumbnail sketches so you learn all sorts of stuff.
