Check it out. Some fun little stuff Ive been working on recently. I created a pattern from AutoCad exported to Eps file then brought it into Pshop. Then coloring begins.
Fun stuff.
I would like to hear what you think.

one touch of light can light a room. two touch of light can give us peace. a room of light can bring us doom. a building of light is a busy working night... the last two's okay but I don't like the first one

Very interesting effects, especially on the first and last ones. |

most people seem to really like the BellyAche image. Probably just because it's so flash in your face imagery and with all them hard edges makes it interesting. I like it too for the reason of controlled splatery paint effect. Well what ever youz like. I'll keep trying other color combos. |

Theory of Darkness is the only one I care for . . . the others look like low-budget CD covers.
Emboss and radial blur filters were cool when people first saw them ten years ago, but using them in the 21st century can make your designs look dated.
Just my opinion.
(I really do like the "Theory" one though)

I like the Belly Ache and Nick Ropa ones the most because the lettering stands out and colors you used are very soothing.
The 2nd one is very nice, but the lettering is not sharp enough and the white around the 4 corners is too bright compared to the rest of the cover.
The 4th one is nice, but I don't really like the blurred effect around the edges and it looks like the kind of album cover you would find for a 70's disco band.

Also I thank you for all the great comments.
We all need to know were we stand in the world of art. It's funny how different people like different things.
Thanks again..

the last one with the bronze inlaid design looks the best out of all the others. I don't like the logo that is motion blurred, it would be better if you were able to figure out a way to make that inlaid as well. I am not sure why but the cover reminds me of Machina cover by Smashing pumpkins, perhaps the colors.

I think that all of the designs are great....but sometimes symetrical things are eyesores... as they said, in art, even things look a bit strange. For example, it would be easier to make 3 apples look good, rather than 2. Anyway, with that said, I think it would be more memorable if you tried to match the title names. For example, the darkness one, a more dark atmospheric picture would fufill the needs... woods... trees...etc... but for now. i guess designs work fine. ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |
