I posted B&W version of this a while ago, and "colored" version after that, I didn't like it, and you consequently did not like it either :-) well I worked on it some more
I used only mouse.
Could anyone help me on what to do with the cape it seems to merge with the background and when I try to lighten background colour
it turns totally unrealistic (not that it is so before that...)

Although i havent posted much i still feel i can give some good points
I think overall the PIC is just a little dark and that you will have to lighten it up completely and tone down the cape to what it is, i also see that a few things (sword) needs to be defined a little more, lastly the arms, the gighlights on the top are to dark i think, and on the bottom i think theres to much green
I know you just asked for comments on the cape but i thought the other comments might be helpful

brighten up the cape as a whole, and add some dappled highlights, like sunrays through the trees...

Thanks a lot for the critiques !!!
ZaphOd: Everything is welcome, when I wrote about the cape I just brought up a specific part of the picture I knew did not look good,
thanks for pointing out the other drawbacks!!!
SporQ: Thanks for the advice on the cape!!! will try to do what you suggested. |
