You're not done with this one are you? The colors are super muddy and those little round gradations as sparkles just look kinda lame and cheap. Also, it would probably be pretty easy to fix the line work by vectorizing it in Streamline, fixing it in Illustrator, and then rasterizing back in Photoshop for coloring. The resulting Illustrator file with the fixed line work would make it infinitely easier to later blow the picture up to a larger size.

rage-lion is the penciller/inker i think he meant to link this image: http://www.bgs-1.com/images/cover1.jpg

dangit a.buttle, you picked the two parts that i didnt like myself

the colors are muddy cause i only spent about half an hour on it. i wasnt originally gonna color it, but thought i should add a bit for some flare. but i agree with ya. ill prolly spend some more time on it.

also, the line issue. i've been looking into getting something that would vectorize my art, but just haven't purchased any yet what is the best for that? i was thinking illustrator, but that's a lot of money and i probably would only use it for vectoring line art...

Illustrator can't vectorize things. Sure, it can create and manipulate vectors, but it can't convert a raster image (e.g. a scan) into a vector image. Adobe Streamline, on the otherhand, can do that very thing. In fact, that's ALL it does. If you scan a piece of linework in at a reasonable size (i.e. big), it can create some very good vectors based on the edge information within the image. Then, once it's converted to vectors, you can edit it in Illustrator.

The second post is pretty good. I would crank the colors up a bit more. They seem sort of dull compared to comic book standards.

Voltron was so cool! It was one of my fav cartoons!
Your pic brings back memories. I don't really have anything else to add apart from what the others said. Oh and congrats on being hired!
