anyone have some software to convert a .mix (photodraw/image composer) into a format that can be opened by photoshop?

G'day Gorgonzola and welcome to the board. It's always great to see another Aussie here. In response to your question, no. You might like to have a bit of a read through the FAQ though as someone else may tell you that a question like this should belong in the Random Musing's section. You might also like to try a PhotoShop newsgroup to find and answer to your query.

thanks for the very fast reply Matt. sorry about posting it here, but because there isn't really a forum for asking general questions about this sort of stuff i wasn't sure. i assumed random musings was just for rambling about unrelated stuff. but no problem, i'll post this sort of stuff there next time.

That was necessary, trust me. @;-)

In regards to the file, give XNView a whirl. Don't have the current version, but it supports more than 200 file formats, so it'd be a fair guess it's in there. Converted my old DPaint pics, so I'm forever in it's debt. *grins* http://www.xnview.com

unfortunately XnView couldn't open .mix either. i'll find a copy of photodraw somewhere. thanks anyway though.

sorry to anyone who thinks this post should be in random musings, i'll post this sort of stuff there from now on.
