I wanna get a site to put my work and other useless crap on. What should I use? A lot of people use geocities, homestead, etc. What would you people say is the best and why? Gimme some some info, please. |

Or for us poor primitive beings who are stuck with a home desktop computer and the shittiest ISP in existence, tripod sites are decent. I think the current space limit is 25 megs or so. (shrug) They've recently made their advertisements even more annoying, but hey, it's free, and you get a relatively short http://yourname.tripod.com.
I'd also consider freeservers.com, but I hear they have a thing about not letting you post images in forums (ie. sijun).
Those are just the free ones, though, and you more or less get what you pay for... depending on how serious you are about your site and how much money you have, you might want to consider paying for one. I would myself, but, um, I'm broke. |
