I like the blue part of the pic a lot, let's say "visually appealing". The ruler does not really blend into the pic, though, IMHO. That may be because of the non-anti-aliased fonts on it; makes it look more like a screenshot from some weird program. On the other hand, if that's what your after...

Think it would look much better if you chopped off the very ends of the ruler.
