Just a little drawing I did in Painter while talking on the phone. Turtles are my buddies. This one is a wooden carved one from Brazil I think... not sure... too many turtles on my desk!!!!

*Update*
Sometimes Inspiration comes from things you would have never thought it would come from. Just sit down in your living room or at the park or something with a sketchbook and have at it. I'm in college right now taking art classes and we draw/paint the damndest things (Shoes, squash, corn, a flask) but the really cool thing about it is, its not what your drawing, but how you draw it or represent it. Have fun with it. Who cares if its a spoon? Ya know? Just go for it.

I really like the image and the way you've managed to represent the shell. Looks really nice. I did have to look hard at the image though to make out the head and arms. They just seem a little too dark and not well enough defined. The whole shadow effect is nice and blends into the image well.

I like that. Very nice.
Latly I have also become a big fan of drawing turtals. They play a role in a short childrens book that I am illustrating for my senior project in college. I have created this sword based around a turtle. It's not a sword that is used but more of a shrine.
Well anyhoo

That reminds me of those Macdraw pictures in Master Craig Mullins' gallery. So...
that's good...
