Here's my latest piece of art, drawn by hand, colored in photoshop. This is my first time coloring in this style. Yeah, I know *slaps himself on the hand* I used a motion blur or two. Any critisism would be appreciated.
P.S. - The words in the BG are lyrics from a Moby song.

I like the pic alot. You convey the feeling really well just wish I could read they lyric that's behind the guys head though

The colours are pretty good but the pose is kinda standard (here is my crack at it)
anyhow my comments. Love the background but it does remind me of Dhab's warrior image in his 'tut'. The colours on the clothing is pretty cool and for a first attempt at the style, things can only get better. I've tried this style once or twice but found looking at the turtles image on joe madurias' site for ideas

The main thing I would suggest would be a shadow or a reflection or something on the floor to give the character a bit of grounding. At the moment he looks to be floating in the air a little. Something doesn't look quite right with the hair but can't put my finger on just what.
Also there is something going on with the fingers up against the guys head. Where the individual digits join into the hand, it doesn't look right. They are too spaced apart. Might help if the 'webbing' was a little more prominate.

Hey i'm super depressed all my life, so i think ill come up with even better pose! LOL
Just wait a year or two until i have enough skillz to dro what i want..

thanks detonation2000. The colours worked, the pose was good. It was my first attempt with the style and I could fix it but I've moved onto other things. Yeah there are problems, something to learn from (ie the hands and their structure is pretty bad.)
