I did this sketch today, and I rather like the character... so I thought I should scan it and colour it. Seemed like a good idea until I tried to think of the colours I should use. Damnit. So any ideas? I'm in need of them.

Oh yeah, and I know his eyes and nose are a little off. But hey, it isn't really supposed to be photo-realistic.

Thanks

-Peri

Heh..... Color Scheme is all up to you to decide.... but since this is more of a fantasy elf.. i'd suggest that the headband be gold... the skin be, well skin colores... hair i would say blonde color and cloak =dark green. Btw.... your hair line is too much of a straight line..

Since he appears to be an elf and somewhat ranger-styled I'd suggest using camo-colors, depending on his surroundings. Forest would be greens and earthtones. The materials he would use and be able to obtain would probably be leather and some rough cloth. If you refer to the middle-age, bright and saturated colors where hard to produce and available only to the richer people. Except of bright colors out of nature like birds feathers or flowers...
But apart from these little decision-helpers it's fantasy, fiction, taste and totally up to you!

Periadam: been admiring you other works. I like your style.

Try some different coloring. Greenish skin. I mean human but with a green tint. And sapphire like hair. Brown and gold headband.

Im hoping to see that colored.
